PROGRESS!!

I am finally liking where this piece is going. Took me long enough huh? Its been a relaxing day so far and I need it!! I am finding that I like doing bead embroidery even more than I thought I would. Maybe I have finally found my niche? Could that be? I don't know but I am loving it. With my page I did about my Fathers death, I found myself just wanting it to be done and over after a while. With this page, I don't want to be done! I am actually getting a little sad that its almost there! Is that strange or what? Now my mind is going to next months page...what to do? Do I do something fun or something with more meaning? I don't know where I will go with that one! I guess time will tell.

You have been smitten by the bead embroidery bug, Tracey! It is probably one of the coolest things to happen to anyone. Your page is beautiful . . .

Oh Tracey, this is super!! & I am so pleased to hear that you are enjoying bead embroidery so much.. It's great to see your progress pictures too, thank you for sharing them! How big are you pages? I am guessing you have written that somewhere but I must have missed it.. I'll be watching to see what you come up with for next month..

Thanks KV! Smitten is the right word for it too! I have a feeling my other hobbies will take a back seat to bead embroidery for awhile!
Now i need to buy some more beads! Like I needed an excuse anyway. Have a wonderful week! Tracey

Thanks Ellen! My page is 4.5" X 5.5" I am wishing I had done a bigger size now! I have so much free time to work that I could probably do an 8X10 a month! I am actually thinking of doing bead embroidered portraits of my dogs and my grand daughter! That would be so much fun. Still pondering on next month.....Gotta find that sppoky tree picture! Hugs, Tracey

I am humbled by your art and by your craft: you may not have done bead embroidery in this life but somewhere, somehow you absorbed it.
Your work is thoughtful, well balanced and beautifully constructed.
Oh, By The Way - - I like the organization of this blog. Showing so many pictures as the days pass allows us the same joy as you have while doing it.
Well, that's what I think. ...Helene

Thank you Helene! What a beautiful compliment you have given me! I am in love with this whole process! I cant seem to just do pages with no meaning. I may have to force myself next month as I cant find a subject matter to work in...You never know, that could change! Blessing to you! Tracey

Thank you Jackie! I am really liking the contrast of the all gray side and then the bright colors! The colorful side makes me happy! Take care, Tracey
