I Heart Macro 12-3-11

One of my first shots with the new lens. My sweet Maddux's eye.
Lunch - Taco Soup and a strawberry smoothie.....yummy!
Even though the berries are artificial, they are still pretty with the ice on them.
Frozen droplet on Evergreens.
Frost on the deck.
It almost looks like a snowflake trapped in the frozen droplet!

Brrrr....sure is getting chilly here in Wisconsin. Not so wonderful being outside, but yesterday the temperature hit 40, so Kim and I decided to spend some time outside. We started out at the coffee shop (of course) where we had tea and breakfast/lunch. There is a deck off of the coffee shop and it is decorated for Christmas with greens and artificial berries and the like. My sweet hubby got me an early Christmas/Birthday gift. It is a 100mm Macro lens, and I wanted to try it out. here are some of the shots I took. So much fun! Thanks Honey!
