I Heart Macro 1-1-12

studio waterstone
First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I am happy to leave 2011 behind. I feel a renewed hope for good health, happiness, security and a very exciting year to come. Sit back and enjoy a few of the macro shots I took this week. Some of them were taken around the house, and some are from a badly needed nature walk with the Hutchinson family. Even though there isn't a lot of nature to photograph and the colors are pretty muted, there is still so much beauty around if you look for it! Have a wonderful Holiday!

 Tree bark
Red Berries - not sure what kind!
Berries still looking pretty good for the end of December.
Dried flower husks of some kind
 Sticker Burr
 Remnants of a flower
Seeds

Great job with the nature macro shots. Nature is all the more amazing close up, isn't.

Those are gorgeous. I love how a macro shot can make those burrs look so beautiful. The color of the berries is wonderful.
