I decided to use this picture for "Sweet Shot Tuesday" as well as "World Bird Wednesday". I snapped this one at our local Coffee Shop. This is a Goldfinch in flight. I am sure loving my camera, I especially love getting these birds in flight shots. I wish I could find some larger birds, I would especially love a hawk or an owl. Wish I know where to find one. These little guys are hard to get! Have a wonderful week and thank you for stopping by!

Tracey, I love seeing your in flight photos of the birds they are so cool. Now that the weather is getting colder it should be easier to find a hawk they are usually perched on fence post waiting for a mouse or some other unsuspecting rodent to venture out in the cold. At least this what the birds of prey do in the south when it gets really cold here.

This is such a magnificent shot! I am always in awe of your bird in flight shots! You are so talented!
Great capture, it is always fun to get a sharp image of a bird in flight.
Seek out open fields and wetlands and you will find your hawks, egrets and herons. Once you know where they hang out, you can hang out there too.
What a perfect shot!
Lovely photo of the goldfinch. I don't have any photos of owls as I would love that too...Michelle
Nice shot, Tracey! Close, too! Glad you're liking your camera.
A beautiful flight capture and I have just had a lovely browse around your blog.
Great capture!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canda.
It's certainly a sweet shot!
Perfect in-flight capture.
Nice shot Tracey. There is no more difficult shot in bird photography than a small bird in flight. IMHO.
So much has to go right even with good light and an expensive setup. This is really a treasure. Bravo!
Great flight capture Tracy.
Lovely capture of the Goldfinch!
Impressive reflexes to get that little fellow in flight like that!
Incredible shot of the American Goldfinch in flight Tracey! I posted goldfinches this week too.
