Shadow Shot Sunday

I am finding more and more photo challenges that I want to participate in. I just stumbled across this one and decided to give it a try. I love taking pictures full of shadows and light play. Sounds right up my alley! For this week, I am posting a shot I took of a staircase in our downtown area. I loved the colors and the way the shadows became such an important part of the photo.

This is such an amazing shot! The stairs, shadow lines and the rust really makes this capture tell a whole story! Love it!

One day this fire escape will have rusted away completely. Then what will people do to flee a conflagration?

I HAVE A LITTLE SHADOW

I have a little shadow that always follows me;
My shadow is my best friend, as anyone can see.

No matter where my feet go, my shadow’s always there—
Except, of course, at midnight with darkness everywhere!
