Focus on Life Weeks 7 & 8

Week 8 already! Yes, I have skipped a few weeks, but I promise, I will get caught up. I'm not going to make excuses (I already did on my 365 post) I am just going to try to be better and more timely. No guarantees though :) This is week 8's picture, scroll down further for week 7.

MONOCHROMATIC
Gorgeous Daisy my Daughter Courtney and Grand Daughter Kileigh gave me for Valentines Day. I am really starting to love Black and Whites. Took this with my 100 Macro lens. I am in love with this lens. It is everything I wanted and more. Cant wait to get out this spring and get some macro bug shots!

Holy catfish batman, that Black and White is awesome! I think it needs to be on a canvas (hint hint). The other shot is gorgeous as well! I am so lucky to have such a talented sis! Love you!

Beautiful macro's, my lens is still on my wish list :(

PS. I'm so sorry, in your post about the birthday girl... I thought she was your daughter (must be grand daughter). You are looking way to young to already have a grandchild ;)

That is so cool, how the petals in your monochrome shot disappear into the foreground.

Beautiful effect!

Don't worry about the timescale. It's all worth waiting for. Just think of how wonderful your collection will be at the end of the year. So enjoying following your projects.

Love both of your shots! A macro lens was on my Christmas wish list, but Santa didn't bring it *sob*...I think I may have to gift it from me to me.
