Cicada Killer - Luckily Kim knew what this was cause I sure didn't.
Thistle gone to seed
My goodness! Another week has come and gone. The weather has been perfect for me, cool and dry. I got to spend a beautiful day in nature with my Sister-in-law Kim on Tuesday. We started the day at our local coffee shop and ended up taking a nature walk at one of my favorite places in the world. I was able to get some pretty fun shots and had a wonderful time chatting and relaxing with Kim. I hope this weather holds out for awhile so we can do it again! That first picture is awesome--although it kinda gives me the creeps!
I agree that first image is amazing. Nice post.
All your shots are awesome, but I love the cicada killer. The angle on the shot is sooooo cool!
Our Nature walk day was magical. To bad that red fox we were not able to get a shot of! Next time ;)

Tracey - oh goodness! What a first picture! Love it, but it also freaked me out a little! I don't like the little things that buzz ;) What great nature shots you managed to get on your walk!
Very cool pictures Tracey, you always find interesting subjects to photograph.

Terrific nature shots! I'm glad you had nice weather for a walk. And good company too!
