Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal!

Bead Soup from Theresa
"Winding Road" Bracelet
Close-up view of "Winding Road"
"Chips, Marshmallows and Bubblegum" Bracelet
"Butterfly Garden" necklace
Finally, today is the day I can reveal my pieces for the blog party! The first picture is the Bead Soup I received from my partner Theresa Fosdick of the blog Thoughtful Notions. She sent cream wood beads, adventurine rondelles, a porcelain butterfly pendant, chip beads and some pink glass rounds, along with a sterling and green toggle clasp. I split up most of the beads and made a necklace, and 2 bracelets. I was really stumped with my mix. I have never worked with either chip beads or wood beads before. I found myself having a complete creative block! That is when I decided to make a few pieces and also add more beads to the mix. I hope you like what I have created! Please take a look at what others participating in the Bead Soup Blog Party have created by following the links below:

WOW, What gorgeous pieces! The winding road bracelet is my favorite! Love it!

Love what you did Tracey,
I couldn't wait to see, everything turned out gorgeous. Of course I love what you did with the pendant but I think the pink and the chips are a really nice combo.

I should have listed what all your beads were but I was so excited to get them sent out I didn't even think of it. The pink ones are pink jade, I will have to let you know the artist of the porcelain butterfly (lost her name).

Hope you enjoyed,
Theresa

REALLY nicely done! I love the butterfly and I like the Winding Road!

I hope you’ll participate again!

Beautiful jewellery, not least the butterfly necklace. I like the black leaves you added. Not just the colour but also something in their shape and pattern echoes the pendant so well. Great job!

I know what you mean about chips. I find them difficult too. But every once in while I think of something that would be fun to do with chips. So I buy a few more in the right colours. Then I'm stuck with even more chips I don't know what to do with... *lol*

All three of your pieces are really wonderful. However, I really like the Winding Road Bracelet the best. The wirework you've done on it definitely gives it a special touch. Fabulous work!
