I Heart Macro 8-6-11
Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. I sure am, the weather here is gorgeous, warm and sunny. For today's I Heart Macro entries I present a series of photos I call "The underside of life". Since I started participating in the I Heart Macro challenge, I have been taking lots more pictures than I usually did. I discovered a love of taking a picture of the undersides of things. Some of my favorite pictures were taken this way. Above, I have included some I took this past week. Sure, the subjects are pretty in their own right, but somehow with the blue sky silhouetting the subject matter they just look amazing. Don't you agree with me? Have a wonderful and blessed week.
*Added the Dragonfly in just because he was cute! Sorry no underside for him :)

thanks for visiting my first shots. Your shots are wonderful and has me wanting to go back out and practice.....have a wonderful day.
I too like unusual perspectives for photos. I had to pick my dandelions to shoot this way, but it always makes for an interesting shot. Love your dragonfly too.
I agree that blue skies always make things better! Great perspective.
Gorgeous pics, Sis! Sometimes the camera lens "sees" more detail than a human eye can and you get a different perspective. Keep Clickin'! Love you! Hope to see you in a couple of weeks!
I share your love for the "other side". My favorite ones to photograph this way are ferns, I think. Love how you've captured summer's waning beauty in your images.
I love all of you shots, but my favorite is the underside of the dried dandelion it is awesome!

Lovely pictures! :)
Oh, these are wonderful! I love the dandelion from underneath. The dill (I think that's what it is) makes a very nice photo too.
Enjoy your week!
What a wonderful theme and great photos! Thanks so much for joining us.
Have a wonderful week.
Interesting to have different perspectives on the same subject. Nicely done.
