No more poodle look for this guy. He is finally actually looking like a buck to me! As you can see, I added some birch trees in as well. I am not quite sure where I am going with this background yet. The nice thing is, I am really not committed to anything! I have visions of what I want it to look like, but am not sure about the execution of it. Time will tell huh?
I want to also say thank you to Lynn of beading heart art for all the help she gives me. If you haven't looked at her blog, you should! She has such talent, and makes the prettiest wallets and other beaded goodies! I have asked her for help on various techniques she uses, and she has always guided me in the right direction. I can also say the same for Pam T of beads and other things She has helped me as well and I want to say thank you! The people in this group are so giving, encouraging and helpful, its a wonderful thing to be a part of! I only hope I can be of help should someone ever approach me in the manner I have approached others! I will try.

WOW the deer is awesome, but then I knew you would make him awesome! What great blogs I put them in my feeds! Love you!
Tracey, he is really looking "handsome"!! I like how you did the tree trunks in the background.
Oh, this is going to be a BEAUTIFUL piece. I like the Birch trees, as they are one of my favorites.
And, it was nice to see your post of thanks. But, don't worry, when someone asks you for help, you will readily offer whatever you can give. I know this about you.
I like how you are using different directions for your brown beading to give the buck texture. The beading of the neck reminds me of long and short stitch. This is going to be a very delightful piece.
"Oh ye of little faith".....Tracey, girlfriend, you've GOT THE TALENT....just get in there and DO IT! The buck is looking awesome and I SEE your trees turning out wonderfully! Yes, YOU CAN DO IT!!
Tracey- big hug to you for the mention of my blog. You are too sweet. And I love this handsome buck. I knew he wouldn't look like a poodle with your talent. The birch trees are so cool!
