Keep on going so you see fields beyone his shoulder and it will have that square shape we are used to. Won't even have to rip anything out. It's looking good.Timareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15769047120660859743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1940068407868216732.post-54262665335489118602008-11-03T20:41:00.000-06:002008-11-03T20:41:00.000-06:00(Glad to Hear about Maddey - I'm sure he will cont...(Glad to Hear about Maddey - I'm sure he will continue to improve) I like the crops and I think if you continue the same pattern toward Mr. Buck and past his shoulder (as if he is standing in front of it), it would really look like a field. I think you are being to critical - it looks great! Maybe try working on the sky for a change and leave the trees alone for a bit, might spark something.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15451877202324054088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1940068407868216732.post-74221600802637615812008-11-03T14:13:00.000-06:002008-11-03T14:13:00.000-06:00OMGOSH Tracy, I laughed out loud when I read the t...OMGOSH Tracy, I laughed out loud when I read the title to this post!! I think you and I could have a good time together!

I don't know how this piece looks in your mind...but I know that this is a learning experience. The piece looks really great, and I wouldn't lie to you. I would say that you will probably get some advise from people that know stitches, unfortunately I don't know too many yet. But one thing I did was to buy Robins latest book and I am telling you it will be one of the best investments I could have made. She gives you techniques that teach you how to make landscape come alive amoung other things.

Your Buck is in the forground, really standing out and commanding attention. If that's what you wanted, you got it really well. And the trees look great. The page is impressive!Carol- Beads and Birdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11062821517519300477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1940068407868216732.post-37936772554999335182008-11-03T12:40:00.000-06:002008-11-03T12:40:00.000-06:00I suspect a lot of your creativity has gone to hel...I suspect a lot of your creativity has gone to helping little Maddux, but in any case like runningonink stated, I like to flip through my collage magazines, go to an art store, museum etc..that usually helps with the creative flow. You have done such nice work with Mr. Buck I would hate to see you tear it out...he already has a history now having been with you through some tough times right? Maybe a little maddux in the background?? Just throwing out creativity thoughts to you...Jacquiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05535717970656847728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1940068407868216732.post-20451835176275112902008-11-03T12:24:00.000-06:002008-11-03T12:24:00.000-06:00I was hoping you and the rest of the gang where do...I was hoping you and the rest of the gang where doing ok. Had been missing your post!

Well when I hit a block I just paint backgrounds and look at others blogs or magazines to get me unblocked! Not sure that will help you!

I think it will look like crops if you keep going! I am so loving the colors! xoxoxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
